VEND Marketplace is an outdoor community marketplace nestled in the heart of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. This local shop and garden features unique boutiques, artisan shops, farm stores and a nursery under one roof. With vendors selling handcrafted goods, fresh produce, plants, garden decor and more, VEND offers a curated collection of regional makers and growers.
As a marketplace, VEND provides space for small business owners and entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their locally-made products. Shop for Appalachian-inspired fashion, crafted gifts, artisanal foods, flowers, garden essentials and seasonal produce all in one place. Boutiques include August General Store, Shenandoah Joe, The Wanderer’s Daughter and Catoctin Creek Distillery.
For those who love being outside, the on-site garden nursery at VEND is a gardener’s paradise. With a selection of plants, trees, flowers, perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetable starts, succulents, garden tools, decor, fertilizers and knowledgeable staff, there are endless options for creating a beautiful landscape or edible garden. The nursery curates only the highest quality, most unique plants and supplies.
Seasonal events at VEND include spring and fall plant sales, farmers markets, art walks, live music on weekends and monthly farm dinners. There are often chef demos, trunk shows, book signings, yoga classes and other special events hosted by individual vendors. An outdoor cafe, Sweetwater Coffee Roasters, provides restorative moments of shade and refreshment.

VEND Marketplace is open Thursday through Monday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. Admission to the grounds, shops, garden nursery and events is always free.
